Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at (Community)

The Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), foretold the coming of a divine reformer who would perform a revival of Islam, bring the faith back to the principles of Quran and Sunnah, and will bring together other religions into the fold of Islam. He would do so with peaceful exhortation, and God would show great heavenly signs for him. That person has been given many names including Jesus son of Mary, Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) and Imam Mahdi or the Guided Imam (peace be upon him). All religious denominations today are anxiously awaiting that reformer.

That divine reformer has arrived. His name is Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (on whom be peace) and he laid the foundation of a new community in Islam in 1889, which he named as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, now with branches in over 181 countries and total membership exceeds 200 million worldwide.

بانیء اسلام ، حضرت خاتم الانبیاء محمد مصطفےٰ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک مصلح کی پیشگوئی فرمائی تھی، جس کا مقصد اسلام کو تمام دنیا پر غالب کرنا اور قرآن و سنت کے اصولوں پر واپس لانا ہے وہ یہ سب کام بغیر کسی جنگ و جدل کے امن سے کرے گا اور اللہ تعالٰٰی اُس کی تائید میں الٰہی نشان دکھا ئےگا۔ اس مصلح کو کئی نام دئے گئے ہیں جن میں عیسیٰ بن مریم نبی اللہ اور امام مہدی شامل ہیں۔ دنیا کے تمام مذاہب اس مصلح کا بے چینی سے انتظار کررہے ہیں۔

"The summary and essence of our faith is that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Our belief that we profess in this life and with which, through the favour of God Almighty, we shall pass on to the next life, is that our lord and master, Muhammad, the chosen one, peace be on him, is the Seal of the Prophets and best of Messengers, at whose hands the faith was perfected and the bounty was completed through which by treading the straight path, a person can reach God Almighty. ہمارے مذہب کا خلاصہ اور لب لباب یہ ہے کہ لاالہ الا اللہ محمد رسول اللہ ہمارا اعتقاد جو ہم اس دنیوی زندگی میں رکھتے ہیں جس کے ساتھ ہم بفضل و توفیق باری تعالٰی اس عالم گزران سے کوچ کریں گے یہ ہے کہ حضرت سیدنا و مولانا محمد مصطفٰی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خاتم النبیین و خیر المرسلین ہیں جن کے ہاتھ سے اکمال دین ہوچکا اور وہ نعمت بمرتبہ اتمام پہنچ چکی جس کے ذریعہ سے انسان راہ راست کو اختیار کرکے خدائے تعالٰی تک پہنچ سکتا ہے اور ہم پختہ یقین کے ساتھ اس بات پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں کہ قرآن شریف خاتم کتب سماوی ہے اور ایک شعشہ یا نقطہ اس کی شرائع اور حدود اور احکام اور اوامر سے زیادہ نہیں ہوسکتا اور نہ کم ہوسکتا ہے اور اب کوئی ایسی وحی یا ایسا الہام منجانب اللہ نہیں ہوسکتا جو احکام فرقانی کی ترمیم یا تنسیخ یا کسی ایک حکم کے تبدیل یا تغیر کرسکتا ہو۔ اگر کوئی ایسا خیال کرے تو وہ ہمارے نزدیک جماعت مومنین سے خارج اور ملحد اور کافر ہے۔ (حضرت مرزا غلام احمد۔ مسیح موعود و مہدی موعود علیہ السلام۔ ازالہ و اہام ، روحانی خزائن جلد ٣ صفحہ ١٦٩، ١٧٠)
